The Rotary Club of Estes Park is governed by a Board consisting of officers and directors. Each of the six directors is responsible for a group of committees, each with its own set of functions and responsibilities.

Types of Committees:

Standing or Operating Committees: Committees that meet throughout most of the year with multiple functions and responsibilities.

Sub-Committees: Committees formed from within a Standing or Operating Committee to accomplish a specific task related to the overall Committee responsibilities.

Ad-Hoc Committees: Committees appointed by the Club President with a specific task that disbands when the task is accomplished. Current ad-hoc committees are:

President-Elect Committees
Program Committee
: Recruits and coordinates the program speakers for the weekly Club meetings

Foundation Committees

Ernie Altick Committee:  Coordinates charitable giving to the local foundation and recognition to donors for financial support.

Grants Committee: Reviews grant applications and recommends recipients to the Foundation Board.

The Rotary Club of Estes Park divides the committees into two categories: Major committees and Minor Committees. Major Committees are noted in these lists with a preceding asterisk (*) such as the *Duck Race Committee.
