Francesco Lo Russo lives in the small village of Cedegolo (600 inhabitants)
in the northern part of Italy (see map) along with his grandparents, father,
mother, older sister Giulia, and younger brother Danielle. He is
participating in the Estes Park Rotary Exchange Student program in 2011-2012
and is attending the Estes Park High School.
He has
traveled abroad before, spending time in Tanzania with his sister Giulia. He
is an inveterate tourist, having visited Ireland, Poland, Germany, France,
Czech Republic, Greece, Spain, and Turkey. Francesco is a basketball player,
loves animals, and loves mountains and skiing, so he should get along just
fine in Estes Park. He likes literature, especially fantasy tales. He likes
music but doesn’t like hard rock and rap.
During his
stay in Estes Park, Francesco will be staying with several host families and
will get to experience many of our mountain pleasures and activities. Watch
this space for the occasional updates on his adventures while he is here.
